Rants
Sebastian Vettel at 2013 Singapore Grand Prix
Seriously how can anyone hate this guy?
I'm super affected by the repeated boo-ing at F1 races this year targeted at Seb. I don't even know what's wrong with him winning. HE DID NOTHING WRONG. Okay, I guess people have the right to boo since they have freedom of speech, but I just can't justify why they want to boo Seb.
I may be biased, oh why don't you try to convince me that you're not biased too? I know F1 hasn't been the most interesting since Seb started winning many races. I want drivers to challenge him too! I want other drivers to get pole position too! (which is happening by the way) But Seb has done nothing wrong. By doing his best with whatever he has ( don't even try to blame him for being in Redbull) , he's being a sportsman who gives his all for the sport! WHAT'S SO WRONG WITH THAT?
People have something against his finger when he celebrates... but he's been doing it since the 1st F1 race he won! I don't remember people criticising him or saying he's stuck up back when he won the Monza race.. He hasn't changed. You people have changed. Your attitudes and mindsets change when he started doing better than expected. He's no longer that fresh faced rookie who crashes into the back of others. Admit it, he's a good driver who tries his best and contributes to the team.
I'm not saying he's the best driver on the grid because I know every driver has his own strengths but winning with the best car doesn't make Seb a loser. Okay then why don't we all drive a Redbull so you can stop booing at drivers.
You can express yourself however you want. But think about how you're influencing others, and how disrespectful you are towards drivers who have done nothing wrong at all. People do things for a reason, but you people are being so selfish by booing at drivers out of pure dislike.
-change of mood-
I should be like Seb. He's so carefree about this. Though the way he responds to these haters will probably spur them to express their hatred... No matter what, Seb's the winner here (for the race and the 'war' against the haters)
